Stewart Shurtleff is a Partner in Peckar & Abramson’s Dallas office, where he focuses on construction dispute resolution.

As one of a small percentage of construction law practitioners in Texas who are Board Certified in Construction Law from the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, Stewart represents general contractors, subcontractors, sureties, and real estate owners/developers in a wide array of construction-related disputes.

Stewart is heavily involved in TEXO, the largest commercial contractor’s association in Texas. He is a former board member who works regularly with the association to assist with their legal needs as well as educational efforts for their members. In 2016 he was named TEXO Young Constructor of the Year for his extensive work with the TEXO Young Constructors Council, where he served on the steering committee for five years and as the Chairman in 2015.
