17Twenty
What started as a crazy idea turned into an industry movement which afforded us the opportunity to sit down with and learn from some incredible people. Our guests were generous with their time and their stories, and those conversations forever shaped how we think about faith, family, work, and leadership more than we could have ever expected. Suffice it to say, 17Twenty meant a lot to us over the years.
However, as time went on, life filled up. Families got busier. Kids got older. Commitments multiplied. We started businesses, which has been challenging (and a lot of fun). As a result, schedules became harder to align and it became clear that we could not keep giving this wonderful little space we carved out on the internet the time and attention it deserved.
Thank you for listening, for sharing episodes, for encouraging us, and for being part of this along the way. We are grateful for this season of life and for everyone who was part of it. And to our faithful listeners ... keep moving mountains!

This week the 17Twenty crew is back in the studio with another man who is investing in to the lives of the men around him on the gridiron. Coach Shane "Tolly" Tolleson sits down and talks through the come up in football, winning state titles at Denton Ryan, the move to Waxahachie as their head coach, building a first class program, and all the details along the way the show a commitment to the community, the program, and the men who are a part of it.
There are some great nuggets in here of leadership, transformation, inspiration, etc. But there is an unexpected nugget about workforce development, and how men who invest their time in a program like what Coach Tolly is building learn core values that the construction industry is searching for as it struggles to backfill its workforce. Perhaps the opportunity is ripe to saddle up with Coach Tolly and find employees who will build our future.
