Speaker 1:

Every single individual has a story to tell and they're great stories and they need to be heard. I want every listener to know they have the ability to change the world. Welcome to the Never Seen Before 99th episode of the 1720 podcast. I'm Stephen Kepitally. Oopsie, I didn't win the prep sheet, that just gave me goosebumps. Well, I'm wearing my super kind of Freddyshirt as beyond gorgeous, cool as you. Now I'm gonna drop some serious wisdom nuggets. That's the most incident.

Speaker 2:

And I wait all night till Santa comes to wake me from my dreams away Cause that's Christmas to me.

Speaker 4:

Merry Christmas mountain movers. Welcome to the season finale of the 1720 podcast. What the heck did we just place? Do we has the intro?

Speaker 3:

I don't know whether to think that's funny or be super mad. My instinct is the latter. Like who, what? What in the world?

Speaker 4:

What in the world? So those those two characters are Roger Cantrell and Simon Tool, over at Mount Mover Facades. Oh man, those two weirdos took over our studio and I randomly got that video one day of them just torching us All the common things that we say. And today's going to be a fun day. Clearly, we're going to get a little off the rails and a little weird and we're going to talk about the bits over the years, and Roger and Simon included several of those bits in their parody mocking us. So we thought no better way to kick off this finale than to play that audio clip, which is actually a video that we could probably post later.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, definitely posting it. All joking aside, that's hilarious. When you sent it to me the first time you know, sometimes it's like so close, it stings a little bit I was like, well, that's not super funny. But then the second time I watched it I was like actually this is hilarious, and I showed Ashley, I showed the boys, so I think I'm going to show this all to you. They all just rolling over how parody, but accurate. Frankly, it is particularly around that part about how I didn't read the prep sheet. It's like, hey, hold on a minute.

Speaker 4:

I just don't get the whole high pitch voice thing. You know what do we suck in helium, what's? How? Is that part of the bit?

Speaker 3:

If I do actually sound like that we're going to need to, you need to tell me. I don't think I actually sound like that.

Speaker 4:

Well, the boys at Mount Mover facades, texo, is gracious enough to let us incubate in their space, and so one of those days they had to commandeer the studio. So Jeff Kramer and Dylan Turner were also in that room, and so that was all of them slapping the table to create the war drums. If you didn't catch that, they just pounded the table, which also made me laugh. There's so much about that 30 second bit that made me laugh.

Speaker 3:

The quarter's a super califragilistic. Expelli doshus is hilarious because that's the biggest word Simon can think of to say.

Speaker 4:

And my favorite part is the sign, the Simon bit that he's assumed this entire time, because that was created over a month ago oh yeah, that you are super upset at him and that's been an ongoing bit that we played out at the Texo Gala. Different comments here and there. We've kept that going, so this is a reveal that you loved it.

Speaker 3:

He loved it. I did love it. But to play the bit for you guys were sitting I don't know, was it Caddy corner or Kitty corner, you know, like diagonal from our table at the Gala, and I thought you had intentionally put Simon like in my line of sight table to table and every once in a while I was just glaring over there at him, like hoping to make angry eye contact to see if he thought like I've really made him mad. Did you lock eyes A couple of times? Yeah, but like I wasn't sure if he was looking at me or someone else at the table. But I can, I called up with him. I don't know if it like fully went, like fully connected. Yeah, definitely was like angry mugging him just to play this forward for another week or so.

Speaker 4:

And we we even said at the table, we're like do you see Stewie here? Like you know, because everybody else was in on the bits, they were, as we typically do, just like pouring fuel on the fire the entire time. So this will be one of those rare ones that I send to him the morning at errors and say I think you need to listen to this one buddy.

Speaker 3:

Well, okay, yes, and Simon will be like oh, you got me, here's it, so blinger on it for a minute, though there's a little nugget in there that I don't know if anybody catches an elf. I think we. It's been long enough. I think we could talk about it now. Do you know which one? It is? No, hit it, it was the super secret. 99th episode.

Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 4:

They must have wrote a script to do that.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, do you want to spill the beans on the super secret 99th?

Speaker 4:

episode bit. We had this grand surprise, one of the surprises of our lives, that we thought we were going to a meeting and it was our hundredth episode party and one of my former coworkers that is an analyzer and lives in the details decided to count our episodes and was like you are, in fact, at 99. You skipped an episode. So, internally, stuart also hated old Rod for catching that as well, but at all, joking aside, absolutely didn't hate it. We loved that bit, which is one of the many bits that we've had on this podcast, but that was a secret bit.

Speaker 3:

Oh man, whenever you told me Rod figured out I don't think we've talked about that on here, honestly, we've talked about the party. I don't think we've ever spilled the beans that it was actually only 99 episodes in when we talked about it. I thought that's not possible. Like there is a huge spreadsheet right now that has every episode, every guest, guest numbers, the release date, listens through episodes, total run. I've kept track of this All very meticulously and so whenever you said it's, rod says it's like no way, no way. And so I went back and looked and something between season one and season two, I made a whoopsie and Counted the episode that would have been released 12, 28, 20. That would have been the 20th episode, but it got counted in the run line and I just missed it all the way along and so when we numbered episodes, all I just I dropped it out Somehow.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I've since gone back. Nobody's probably noticed this, but I since gone back and Renumbered them. If you notice us. Yeah, we're short up now. Oh, yeah, we're short up now because I've made the missing. It was actually the missing episode number 20. I Made it. The clip of the Bish blooper is what episode number 20 is now. Did you notice that? Yeah, there's a bit, there's like a secret bit in a bit right there that nobody knew about. The episode 20 the missing episode is the Bish blooper from. I can't even remember when the Bish blooper was, me neither.

Speaker 4:

But he's gonna be so excited that that's now broadcasted, that it's an episode he's gonna be really pumped, yeah, episode 20 gonna gonna have some scripture to send your way. That isn't pleasant. Pretty convicting.

Speaker 3:

Oh no.

Speaker 4:

Yeah.

Speaker 3:

Bishop Bish blooper episode filled number 20 38 people have listened to it because nobody really realized it was in there. But it's just, it's just the cut from him. What were we doing? Oh, we were recording for it'sler. That's what we were doing. We were oh it was it'sler.

Speaker 4:

It's your life resume. I forget that. We did that sometimes, man.

Speaker 3:

I was with somebody the other day I forget who it was and they got in the truck and they said oh, it was Kimplin, it was Scott Kimplin, and he said so, you guys hosted a radio show. When he got in the truck, I took him back to the airport and I was like, well, it's kind of a long story, but yes, the answer. That's true and we did do that.

Speaker 4:

But how do you figure that?

Speaker 3:

out the period of time we did. It is posted on my LinkedIn. Oh, oh cool. Yeah, yeah, thanks for noticing.

Speaker 4:

They well, it went so well that it's out of business.

Speaker 3:

I know I feel like we kind of got scooped in at the at the end of it too. Maybe it had gone been going better. I don't really know the story, but I remember Thinking this is not, doesn't seem to be going super duper well, and then not, we couldn't get in touch with anybody. And then, like five minutes later, they're like and it's over.

Speaker 4:

Well and think, thank goodness right, like from a capacity standpoint, but also the other side of that fence you got to give that thing some time to nurture. Like you know, our we'll probably get into it in the bits section, but you know, the podcasts were kind of hot crap Actually with on our end we had amazing guests, so that is no knock to our guests, it's just, you know, to the bits there was. There was some silliness there that caused some panic and all that sort of stuff. But I want to ask you, before we go down the list, what do you think the first bit was?

Speaker 3:

Oh, the first, the first bit. I mean, I feel like there's a couple what I would say. The first one it Pretty quickly it was always talking about Matt Fisher was a bit, I feel like, but it might have been. Hello, my name is Kevin. Is it's turned into the first bit? That get the impression from your body language.

Speaker 4:

Neither one of those are the ones that you were thinking about well, I wanted to see if I was right or wrong timeline wise, because those are both bits. But I think what happened earlier than that that we started talking about was Captain process over here coming up with the prep sheet, oh, and then realizing that you weren't looking at them and you would jump from the middle to the last third and I'm like in my head, hanna King, I'm like there's a structure here. People like one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, like we must follow the script.

Speaker 2:

And you think you never followed the script.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, you think you started talking about it when when we started. Oh yeah, that becomes a bit.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah, so first bit might have been stored. Didn't read the prep sheet.

Speaker 4:

Like Simon says, Just going off the rails.

Speaker 3:

Uh-huh, yeah, there was also the. I don't know if anybody even knows this First bit may have been you won't let me make it through five seconds of silence, is that? I mean that probably never gets aired right, but in part of our post processing I need to record some of the um, some of the home that's happening just from electronic interference in the studio. So you got to record five seconds of silence so that I can de-hum it in post Nine times out of 10, we don't make it through five seconds of silence because you interrupt that. So that has become. That was a pretty early bit. Oh, not making it through five seconds.

Speaker 4:

I think that was a uh, probably in one of the indicators or metrics of a turning point in the journey too, where we're getting more comfortable. It wasn't like a pressure cooker while you hit the live button, because there was no way I was doing that in the first five to 10, right Like, oh, yeah, Well, you know the comfort level of joking around right before we hit play. Um, but that one even didn't. That, that didn't even make my list and I got like 10 plus.

Speaker 2:

So we've got a lot of bits.

Speaker 3:

Yeah.

Speaker 4:

That was mothers. Uh, so the second one I had you mentioned, trying to guess. The first one was our terrible intro. Oh, it's so bad that I came, like I can I just need to listen to the first few episodes starting at five minutes. Like every time I try to do it, or Spotify takes me to an earlier one. After I listened to the latest one, like I hear that I'm like out, out, immediately. Get out, I'm out.

Speaker 3:

I'm going to see if I can find it real quick and make and make you listen to it right now.

Speaker 2:

But you know.

Speaker 3:

I'm not. No, no, no. But you know, I did a pull out of the first five episodes of how my name is Kevin. I told you that, right, I just chopped them up and it just says hi, my name is Kevin. How many was Kevin? How many was Kevin? I'm going to drop it in here.

Speaker 4:

My name is Kevin. My name is Kevin Kerry. My name is Kevin Kerry. My name is Kevin. My name is Kerry.

Speaker 3:

That's a good one. That's a good one. This is you know this really like is dead on to your note From the Christmas post that said no leadership lessons will be had this week other than holiday cheer.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, go, spread some positivity and some laughter.

Speaker 3:

What are you doing for the holidays? This is like a whole in the ditch episode. You'll try one.

Speaker 4:

We hold the only granddaughter we get to play home field advantage. My parents are coming in, uh, some time around the 21st and they're going to stay for a couple of weeks actually.

Speaker 3:

Oh sweet.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, and then, uh, I think we travel to East Texas for a same day or uh, with Sadie's side and do the things, but we stay right here. Yeah, what?

Speaker 3:

about y'all. We have, uh, I think it's only three days off for basketball, because there's another bit Everything's basketball, basketball reference there. It is Um, william, with William playing basketball. We only have man. It's either three or four days off because they play on a. I think they play on Thursday or Friday. Then we have Saturday, sunday, christmas Monday off, and then I think they're right back at it for a tournament or something. So we'll go to Houston to spend some time with Ashley's family, but we don't really have too much time to be gone other than other than that. What, what?

Speaker 4:

number was that bit. Oh, I don't know. I it's an outline After the first one. I just wrote them as they came to me. Yeah, Uh, the next one I had was two things, and you actually had one or three.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, it was never was to. That became a bit, and I didn't even realize that, as somebody else I might've been. You told me there's only one thing or three when I say two things, and now I've started doing it on purpose.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, that's fine, good time.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I'll do it around the office and stuff too, or at home even, like all right, I need to tell you three things, but I I now I know I only have two, but I'll juice the number just to make sure it comes in short.

Speaker 4:

Two things You're an idiot and then you just turn around and walk out and the person's like what just happened?

Speaker 3:

What just happened? Yeah, I think he's an idiot. All right, I never found that here's. Here's Kevin, so you might've looked out. Maybe I lost it, thank goodness.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, one of my favorite ones, because the fictional character keeps being mentioned, including our season five premiere is Brad the donkey rider.

Speaker 3:

Brad. I've had to explain Brad to a number of people. If you don't, yeah, you got your chuckle too. If you don't remember who Brad is, go back what. What episode was that? It was with?

Speaker 4:

It was deep into Brent Gleason's episode. Yes, or he started figuring out that we were idiots.

Speaker 3:

Yes, Episode 30 with Brent Gleason, back back in March of 2021. I forget why. We were talking about people at the office or something like this, and and one of us made up a fictional person named Brad who was the was awful. I forget all the things we talked about Brad, but Brad has, over the years, been. Anytime we need to talk about somebody who does something stupid or Makes mistakes or whatever. Brad, brad, I can't believe. I can't believe Brad still does that.

Speaker 4:

I remember that was like one of the peaks of Brad's journey was riding a mule. Yeah, cause you. You just start dying laughing in the studio with Brent. And then Brent looks at you. He's like oh yeah, brad's a big mule guy. He's like he gets in on the bit too, a bit too, which made it even more fun. He like, he, he like came down to our level for a hot moment. I can't remember. I'm trying to be serious and talk about family and his equestrian daughter.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, yes, yes, brad, he's a big mule guy. So dumb, yeah, so dumb. Go back and listen to that one, though, was it? It was towards the end, for sure, with Brent, oh one of these days will foot and mouth a literal Brad sitting there and make a Brad reference to being dumb, and then he's like I don't know, I don't know, I don't know, I don't know, I don't know, I don't know, I don't know, I don't know, I don't know, I don't know, I don't know.

Speaker 3:

I don't think that was the reason they mentioned that and then have to unpack that we should try to find guests named Brad, just to go ahead and get that over with.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, hey, did you come here on your?

Speaker 3:

mule buddy. Dude, you got a list. I was just going to riff what's on your. This is unsurprising. What's on your list? What else, what else?

Speaker 4:

Stewie bingo. I feel like. I feel like there were bits before it, but the Stewie bingo was like the first time we like publicized. We have bits. I guess specifically on you and I don't even remember I didn't do the history lesson of even looking up what the bingo card looked like, but people to this day reference a hey, that'd be a good bingo tile. Yeah, they latched onto that. But do you remember your captain memory? Do you remember what the tiles were? I think the mention two things was.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, two things in head. One basketball quarters definitely in there. Um, give me a second, give me a second, I'll go find it. Who was it? Was it you that made it up, wasn't it? Yeah, it was on your whiteboard or something. Yeah, we're like brainstorming it at the office or something. Is that right?

Speaker 4:

I drew it and before I would just like yesterday's elf thing that I didn't ask permission for, I just did Like this one. I was like, hey, how are you going to take this? Just in case it was offensive, like I didn't want to. I didn't want you to be offended by it, I wanted to be fun. So I did ask your permission first on that one, uh, and I think it did more than we possibly realized it could do. You know we were just let's do something fun one day.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I tried to scroll back on the LinkedIn to get back. It won't. Let me go past a year old to get to posts to go find it. Is that normal or is my internet broken?

Speaker 4:

Oh dude, I couldn't even imagine trying to scroll that far back. I probably have a picture somewhere in the podcast, marketing or something.

Speaker 3:

We should find it and post it again. I was going to try to find it so we could reference what all was on the bingo. Talbot, yeah, it's a hilarious like scribbled on your whiteboard at work, isn't it?

Speaker 4:

Something like that, yeah.

Speaker 3:

I think there's a zero percent chance I can actually find that, but oh got it. Oh amazing, All right, hit me with them.

Speaker 4:

Okay, basketball reference.

Speaker 2:

Yeah Says.

Speaker 4:

It's funny to read these Says hokey, hokey, yes, okay, I haven't heard you say that in a while, so Uh-huh, you're through. That season Works a Jolly Rancher. Oh, I forgot.

Speaker 3:

Working a Jolly Rancher was a cool season Texas always had. They may still have them back now, but I don't get them anymore. But up at the front there was a jar of Jolly Ranchers and I would cruise in and grab a fistful and then I didn't realize. You could hear me like clacking it around on my teeth while we were recording.

Speaker 4:

Oh, dude, this is great. Makes up a story and then, in parentheses, ashley, to verify Okay, it says in a ditch, which became its own bit yes, uh, makes a dad joke, which we all do. So that one's that one doesn't hit that hard, says pin it, says stop down. And then the other one that makes me chuckle References a book he won't read.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, oh, there's a bit. I just I never read books. That's a bit Right. This has become a oh okay, that's. I definitely won't be reading that.

Speaker 4:

But like the impression pre bingo card is like man, this dude's well read, yeah, he's referencing these books. And then one day I was like I think you broke it down. You're like I haven't read any of these. Man, right, yeah, I read for a living. The last thing I want to do casually is read.

Speaker 3:

Um, yes, that is. It is true. It happens with movies too, cause, you know, there's this I don't know if it's necessarily a podcast bit, but there's a a life bit for me that I've never seen a movie. I just don't watch movies, but yet somehow, anytime somebody makes a movie or a restaurant, it's like oh yeah, that's from dumb and dumber. Like have you seen it? No, like I don't. I don't know how these things get stuck in my head when I haven't read them or seen them. Gif keyboard probably the.

Speaker 4:

GIF keyboard Maybe, I don't know.

Speaker 3:

GIF keyboard's probably supplying um. It's probably supplying movie bits. I don't know if GIF keyboard's supplying James Clear quotes from Tommy habits or whatever you know.

Speaker 4:

No, no, definitely not Definitely not. You just got that encyclopedia of memory, dude.

Speaker 3:

I did it the other day with somebody. Um oh, it was actually with Colby. We were talking about something and I said I actually remember the first time we ever had lunch and he was like what? I was like, yeah, it was like 15 years ago. Uh, we went to a chips over off a Northwest highway but we set at a booth. It was adjacent to the tollway, about four down the right. You ordered a tater tots and you have hamburger but a gluten free bun and that was the first time I realized like you had a gluten allergy or whatever. And he looked at me like I was crazy, like I remember really goes yesterday, man, like it's. I promise, I promise all those things are true. I remember them. Yeah, stupid, all the stuff jammed in my head. Um man, I've been scrolling back through the pictures in our texts as I was thinking I was going to get to that Stewie bingo and I didn't find that. But I did find videos of you scaring me. That's in there.

Speaker 4:

That's a oh. That's not a bit that made the list. That's a behind the scenes cut.

Speaker 3:

Man there's. There's two really good ones and one where you uh where you got Todd too.

Speaker 4:

Oh, he's karate chopping me. Oh man, he's right. He's right. A slice and dice with a sand.

Speaker 3:

If you don't know that bit, kevin will. On days we're recording he will hide somewhere as we're walking, as I'm walking in, he will record and then scare me. I think it's probably happened two really good times. Sometimes I'll be sitting in the studio like early waiting and then you sneak in because the way it's set up, my, the, uh, your, your chair in my chair or backs to the door, and you'll get me really good then too, just like, oh man, I'm going to die one day, I might have a heart attack one day from recording in person with you.

Speaker 4:

I know when you genuinely get got cause, you say the same word.

Speaker 3:

Uh, is it safer than NSFW? Yes, it doesn't surprise me. I think my like excited utterance is usually one of two cursey words that just jump out.

Speaker 1:

That's right.

Speaker 4:

Uh, no, nobody was happier to hear the news of us moving than than Todd, oh yeah. He's incubating there every other day and then every other day we'd work from home and he was choked. He'd come from home and he was cheese and ear to ear like man. So glad you got there.

Speaker 3:

Moving on. You're happy to not live in fear anymore.

Speaker 4:

I think the Kelsey which I call come through. Kelsey, uh, the receptionist at tech. So yeah, she always comes through. I think the first time I went for a scare for her she threw her phone in the air.

Speaker 3:

Oh, no yeah just yeah. And it's caught on video somewhere.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, I've hidden Melanie's office several times. There's just there's some people. I'm like man, I don't. I don't know if they're down with this. I'm not going to cross the edge.

Speaker 3:

Cross the edge of scaring their brains out. Yes, have I told you, when I was a kid, I used to play that game with my dad where I would scare him all the time. But it I was like 15. I was, I was hazing Williams age and just would scare my dad all the time. But he eventually took it too far where, like I, would scare him out of his sleep and I would like, when he was in the shower, I would like break into the bathroom and scare him in the shower and stuff.

Speaker 4:

That was okay to sleep, what seems too far?

Speaker 3:

Yeah, and eventually he sat me down one day and was like man, I'm seriously concerned when I have a heart attack, you've got to stop doing this. And I just quit scaring him cold turkey, but yeah. So just sneaking into the bathroom is okay, but out of your sleep not okay.

Speaker 4:

I would just it's so nice that your dad gave you a sit down. My dad would have broken my face.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah, no, we had a serious conversation about it, for sure, I would have a serious hospital bill. Oh man oh that's funny. Yeah, Scaring All right. So scaring is a bit probably not on the list. That's a behind the scenes bit literally.

Speaker 4:

Now we you mentioned the mentioning Matt Fisher, which we went on like a 30 episode Hot Street give or take. Oh yeah, but where did we're? I don't remember the origin of fat measure. Did somebody accidentally say that? And then it's an auto bit. Who accidentally said it?

Speaker 3:

I think it was when we were. I think it was almost the same day as when we were recording with the Bish blooper we were talking about, because we had mountain movers in the studio and we were recording afterwards and somebody said fat measure. I don't remember who it was I want to say it was Daniel but somebody said it live. It might be recorded somewhere where they said fat measure, and then we cut it. Yeah, that's what it was. Somebody said it when we were recording. Then we cut it because like that's not cool. And then the next, and then the instabit. Like we recorded the next segment and somebody said it again on purpose and it's up. I did.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, you just naturally rolled into it Like I'm going to pretend this is an error. Yeah, it's now a bit.

Speaker 3:

Oh right, cause somebody said did you say fat measure? And I was like, oh yeah, I don't know, man, sorry, maybe, maybe. So I mean I can find that. That was definitely on. I think it was the same day we had the Bish blooper. It was when we were recording for BYLR. For sure I bet I have it somewhere. I can find it. Um, it will sound All right. So if you want to hear more from fat, uh, more from fat.

Speaker 1:

Keep it.

Speaker 3:

In ace hat blooper, see, we got bloopers, just like that.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, more from fat.

Speaker 3:

A different F-bomb. A different F-bomb oh man, I bet I'm so red right now. Oh fat measure, oh fat mat.

Speaker 4:

Fat measure.

Speaker 3:

Yeah.

Speaker 4:

That's great. If he would have said fat measure it stays forever. Yes, yes, Because then somebody's running. They're listening to B-w-r.

Speaker 3:

Did he say fat measure? I can do it. I'm going to do it. I'm just going to see if we can do it.

Speaker 2:

Go ahead, all right.

Speaker 3:

So if you want to hear more from fat measure, you can just go back to our original podcast.

Speaker 2:

Hey, before I dive in I need to clarify one thing. Last week on the radio, I'm pretty sure you said fat measure.

Speaker 3:

I think you're right. Yeah, I heard it too, and then we just went with it. Yeah.

Speaker 4:

Power through it. Yeah, we're going to one.

Speaker 2:

Take all of these I think you need to get a survey back from your listeners of how many spit takes. Did you get out of that one?

Speaker 3:

Yeah, that's a good one. There was the there was just mentioning Matt Fisher, that was calling him fat measure, and then it became the bit about how, if there was a word that I said, if I said supercalifragilisticexpialidocious, then we needed to explain it or define it for Matt Fisher too.

Speaker 4:

That's right, which was actually me.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, the triple dipple of calls out for call outs for fish. In fact, that bit manifested itself through the live recording. Remember the posting? There was a LinkedIn post with a picture that someone took of fish when we were recording live this season and he said pretty sure I was asking Stuart to explain what a word meant, like he did it.

Speaker 4:

What did we miss?

Speaker 3:

Man, I don't know.

Speaker 4:

Oh duh QZ Contest.

Speaker 3:

Yes, yes, somebody asked me where, oh it was at the live recording. How many QZs do you have? And they've since been cold out a little bit. That was about this time last year with the QuarterZip Contest, because Lorna Beta and Brett Lam at Construction Discovery Experts had given us tickets to the Cotton Bowl to raffle off or give away or something like that. So we did a QuarterZip Contest that ran for about a day or so. Do you remember what the answer was? I want to say 43. It was 33. Yeah, it was 33. And Itzel won. She had guessed 32. Oh nice, yeah, it was.

Speaker 4:

She works at Texo.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I didn't know who she was at the time. Now I do, but she was the winner with had given guest 32. Price is Right Rules, but the comments over there. I was looking at them the other day. The comments were really funny and some of the guesses were extraordinary. Dennis DeCran, a former law partner, mine at P&A, guessed 365. He said I wear a different one every day. As far as he knew.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 4:

And you're wearing one right now, of course.

Speaker 3:

Actually, this is I'm wearing the one that I got. Well, I forget why, but Texo gave it to me with the. Can you see it? Yeah, it's embroidered 1720 on this side and Texo on the other side.

Speaker 4:

That's one of my faves, heck. Yeah, that's a comfortable one.

Speaker 3:

Oh, I remember what it was is because I was helping. We had some trouble with cancelling the reservations, for I was with the Hyatt for the COVID year Christmas party and so I had helped Texo and Ashland specifically, I think. We wrote some letters and tried to get some stuff worked out, and so this is the thank you gift for helping the FAFO gift.

Speaker 3:

Yes, the FAFO gift for helping work that out for Texo Nice. What else you got, man? You got other bits. I was gonna, whenever we get to the we're out of bits part, I was gonna give us some numbers for the year too, just to kind of Do your thing, man. Okay, so a couple of just like things, but none of them are super monumental, but stats and things Guess how many hours of content this year or just season, I guess, as we call it we recorded this season.

Speaker 3:

Do you have any idea how much? 65. 42 and a half that's close, though. That's through last week with Drew Boyd A total of 44 episodes this season, which means we're running right at short of an hour. Every episode is not too bad. This is the thing that's dumbfound me, though. All time total. All time total runtime. What do you think? That is 200. 161. Each episode is still about an hour, but 161 hours of me and you asking smart questions and interviewing folks and talking about stuff that's a lot of content, man, we've done over the last years. I guess. 161 episodes through today, man, there's a lot of work going into putting this together. So as we wrap up another season, I'll use the pat ourselves on the back gift that you send to me all the time, but man there's a lot of work and a lot of content, a lot of listens.

Speaker 3:

It's just been an awesome journey, man.

Speaker 4:

It has and the one stat I look at every now and again just to see the reaches, countries and cities. So 82 countries and we're knocking on the door of 2,000 cities. So 1967 is the number of cities which I bet. Scott Kimplin pumps that from 1967 to over 2,000. Whoa, that's pretty wild man. Have we hit every continent? Yes, there's.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, remember there was a oh. Here's a bit we missed. Remember when we went through that whole phase of why are people in Washington listening to this so much?

Speaker 4:

Yeah, it was a server room.

Speaker 3:

It turned out it was a server. It was a Lake Stevens, Lake Stevens it was an Amazon web server location that we figured out. I was like man, they love us in Lake Stevens.

Speaker 4:

That was cool. But also we haven't solved that Germany thing. I'd still like to solve that Germany. It's like main Hesse or something Frankfurt-ish. The same one over and over and over and over. Like it's one per. We want to know who you are. There's no way that's a server room.

Speaker 3:

What is it? I don't even know if I've picked up on this. Is someone in Germany?

Speaker 4:

Yes. So if you look at the countries, you got Germany almost at one per episode. Yes. If you match that up with looking over at the cities to the right to try and get around that, 156, there it is Frankfurt and Main. Hesse, I want to know that person.

Speaker 3:

Well, maybe they'll write us, or maybe it's some weird proxy thing too, that's like double pinging it off and we'll never. It's actually Chasey Boy listening and we don't even know it because he's using a German proxy or something.

Speaker 4:

That would be Chase. That's a Chase move all day.

Speaker 3:

Well, we've gone about 35 minutes of just complete total nonsense other than hopefully some holiday cheer as we head into the holiday season.

Speaker 4:

Kev anything else before we break. No, if we missed one, that's a bit that you fell down to Drop it in the comments when we post.

Speaker 3:

Oh, that's a great idea. Drop those down there. It has been a fun journey of bits and laughs and, like Kev said, if we missed one, drop it down there. Man, you guys all have a Merry Christmas. We will kick off the new year on January the 8th with Scott Kimplin talking about operationally successful trade contractors. Merry Christmas to you guys, and you'll stay out there and keep moving mountains.
