17Twenty
What started as a crazy idea turned into an industry movement which afforded us the opportunity to sit down with and learn from some incredible people. Our guests were generous with their time and their stories, and those conversations forever shaped how we think about faith, family, work, and leadership more than we could have ever expected. Suffice it to say, 17Twenty meant a lot to us over the years.
However, as time went on, life filled up. Families got busier. Kids got older. Commitments multiplied. We started businesses, which has been challenging (and a lot of fun). As a result, schedules became harder to align and it became clear that we could not keep giving this wonderful little space we carved out on the internet the time and attention it deserved.
Thank you for listening, for sharing episodes, for encouraging us, and for being part of this along the way. We are grateful for this season of life and for everyone who was part of it. And to our faithful listeners ... keep moving mountains!
Though the episodes will slowly roll off of all podcasting platforms over time, all episodes will remain available for free at the link below:

E150 || Joe Flores || The Mentor of Mentors
This week on the podcast, we have a remarkable guest: Joe Flores, a seasoned leader with over 30 years of construction experience and currently the President of Cooper General Contractors in Plano.
When Rachel Kennedy (E053) suggested that we ask Joe to join us on the podcast, she gave him this intro:
"Joe is an Aggie that came up through the Project Management route before transitioning to lead HR, and eventually taking over Safety, Risk, Legal, and more. He feels most at home with muddy boots, connecting with people, and finding ways to positively impact their lives."
That's perfect. Though Kevin and Stewart both knew Joe prior to this conversation, and their time spent with him affirmed the stories they had heard over the years. Joe is not just a leader; he's a leader who deeply cares about people and is eager to invest his time in helping others move their mountains.
In this week's episode, you'll have the opportunity to learn about Joe's remarkable journey, his insights into effective leadership, and how he's built a reputation for making a positive difference in the lives of those he encounters.
We'd love to hear from you! Send us a text message here!
